The Q40 sedan with rear-wheel drive for 2014 and 2015 is the approved application for CIN020-SK. The four Slide Kontrol Drift coilovers are sprung at 14 kg/mm front and 8.7 kg/mm rear, with an adjustable lower mount and 36 damping levels on each unit.
A drift build needs firm control at the limit, so these dampers run about 30 to 50 percent firmer than the Kontrol Pro. Stiffer springs help the car initiate a slide, and some applications also get helper springs. The front struts use 55 mm inverted shocks for extra oil capacity and cooling under sustained track sessions, and the steel lower mounts with pillowball camber adjustment handle the stress. The 2011 to 2012 Q60, the 2007 to 2008 G35 and the 2014 to 2015 Q60 coupe are also listed. Confirm your body style with the year, make and model checker before ordering.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set damping to full soft for a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving.
Configured with roughly 30–50% stiffer shock damping than Kontrol Pro; stiffer spring rates assist initiation while drifting. Helper springs are included on some applications.
Inverted-type shocks use 55 mm bodies for added oil capacity and cooling efficiency, and perform better under sustained stress at track events.
MacPherson-strut applications use strengthened steel lower mounts for the loads of competitive drifting.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts with camber adjustability — helpful for alignment and removing the need for a separate camber kit.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
