Built for the 2015 to 2018 Lexus RC 350 (rear-wheel drive), Airtech Basic is a complete manual air suspension. The package includes four air struts with 36-way damping, a Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel air tank, paddle valves and a 200 psi dual-needle gauge, with all hoses, wiring and manuals.
Raising and lowering is done by hand at the paddle valves. Basic is the entry level, so there are no electronic switches, and the gauge tracks front and rear pressure. Adjustable lower mounts let you set height at any pressure, while the damping knob sets firmness from soft to firm across 36 levels.
Run the air lines carefully, check every connection after the first 500 miles or one month, and test for leaks with soapy water at 70 psi. Deluxe, Pro Plus and Executive are separate part numbers for this vehicle, so confirm which level you are buying. The RC 300H and GS350 are also listed for this system.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
