The Airtech Basic kit fits the 2015 to 2018 Lexus RC 200T (rear-wheel drive) as a complete manual air system. It brings four application-specific air struts with 36-way damping, a single Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel tank, paddle valves and a dual-needle gauge reading to 200 psi.
Front and rear bags are controlled by hand through the paddle valves, and the gauge sits beside the switches so pressure is always visible. Adjustable lower mounts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure. Damping is changed with the supplied knob, turning softer counterclockwise and stiffer clockwise.
Hoses, wiring and manuals are included, and the kit is designed for bolt-on work. Professional installation is recommended, followed by a recheck after the first 500 miles or one month. The RC 300H, RC 350 and GS350 are also listed for this system, and Deluxe, Pro Plus and Executive are separate part numbers for this vehicle.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
