Airtech Basic is the manual air system for a 2013 to 2016 Lexus GS400H, including the F Sport trim with rear-wheel drive. It has four application-specific air struts with 36-way damping, a Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel tank and manual paddle valves with a dual-needle 200 psi gauge.
Paddle valves control the front and rear bags by hand, and the gauge sits next to the switches so pressure is always visible. The supplied damping knob sets each strut's firmness across 36 levels, turning softer counterclockwise and stiffer clockwise. The adjustable lower mounts let you fine-tune height at any pressure.
Hoses, wiring and manuals are supplied, and professional installation is recommended. Recheck after the first 500 miles or one month, and test for leaks at 70 psi with soapy water. Deluxe, Pro Plus and Executive are separate part numbers for this vehicle, so confirm the level before ordering. The IS350, GS350 and GS250 are also listed for this system.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
