Product details
A 2006 to 2013 Lexus IS250 with all-wheel drive that wants the Kontrol Sport level gets four assembled coilovers, sprung and valved for the car. Springs are 12 kg/mm in front and 9.8 kg/mm in the rear, and the valving runs 30 percent stiffer than the Kontrol Pro.
Thirty-six levels of damping adjustment let you dial the system in for handling or comfort, and each change moves compression and rebound together. The monotube body dissipates heat faster and more evenly than twin-tube construction, which supports consistent ride quality from run to run.
On many MacPherson applications the pillowball top mounts install to OEM specifications, and the patented mount adds adjustability and sharper steering response. The adjustable lower mount controls ride height without losing suspension travel. Verify fit with the year, make and model checker. The GS300, GS350 and GS450 are also listed for this system.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial the system in for handling and comfort. Adjustment alters compression and rebound together for effective, user-friendly setup changes.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation for consistent ride quality.
Many MacPherson-strut applications use pillowball top mounts front and rear, installing to OEM specifications. The patented mount adds adjustability, combats noise, and sharpens steering feel and response.
Most applications adjust ride height without losing suspension travel, so you reach the height you want without bottoming out the shock. Separate rear shock-and-spring applications adjust at the spring perch and lower mount.
KSport's advanced upper pillowball mount is available on many applications, giving separate camber and caster adjustment for alignment work and removing the need for a separate camber kit.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
