This Version DR coilover is for the 2006 to 2012 Lexus GS450 (rear-wheel drive) and is set up for drag racing. Four assembled coilovers arrive sprung and valved for the application, with 24.8 kg/mm springs in front and 7.5 kg/mm at the rear, a split chosen to regulate weight transfer on launch.
Each damper has 36 levels of adjustment. Soft settings give a comfortable ride between passes, and the firmer end suits the staging lanes and the launch. Custom valving for drag racing is part of the design, built on the Version RR road-race system. Pillowball mounts on MacPherson applications are meant to cut noise and improve steering response.
Set ride height at the adjustable lower mount, lock each collar with both spanner wrenches, and have the car aligned once it is installed. The lower mount keeps full shock travel while the car is lowered. Confirm the year, make and model checker before you order. The IS350 and GS350 are also listed for this system.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
