Product details
Kontrol Pro coilovers are sized for the 1985 to 1999 Toyota Starlet (EP70, EP81 and EP92 chassis, front-wheel drive). Four assembled coilovers come sprung and valved for this application, with 6.7 kg/mm springs at the front and 6.2 kg/mm springs at the rear.
Damping runs across 36 levels, and every damper has its own knob. Set the knobs to full soft for comfortable daily driving, or firm up compression and rebound for track days. Start 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there.
Monotube construction dissipates heat faster and more evenly than twin-tube designs, and a standard dust boot protects the damper seal with the bump stop built inside it. Applications with pillowball upper mounts often include camber adjustment, which helps when you dial in alignment after lowering. The Tercel from 1995 to 2000 and the Paseo from 1992 are also listed, so confirm fitment with the year, make and model checker.
Supported features
Every KSport coilover offers 36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for comfortable daily driving, or firm up the compression and rebound for the track.
Applications with a pillowball upper mount often include camber adjustment — useful for dialing in alignment after lowering, and it removes the need for a separate camber kit.
Applications for MacPherson-strut suspension typically use a pillowball upper mount. The bearing design resists the noise common to other coilovers, and steering feel and response improve.
Most Kontrol Pro applications adjust ride height independently of shock and spring travel, so you can set your stance without risking bottoming out the shock.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
