The Slide Kontrol Drift coilover for the 2021 Toyota 86 uses 12.2 kg/mm front and 10.5 kg/mm rear springs, with four assembled coilovers and 36 levels of damping adjustment on each damper.
A 55 mm inverted shock is used on MacPherson applications, and the damping is listed as 30 to 50 percent stiffer than the Kontrol Pro. Steel lower mounts and pillowball mounts with camber adjustment give alignment room, and the adjustable lower mount keeps the full shock travel while the car is lowered. The kit is set up for drift-style use, with the same steel mounts and camber range on every corner.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
