Product details
For the 1993-1997 Mazda MX-6, Version RR Road Race (CFD050-RR) sits on 14 kg/mm front and 12 kg/mm rear springs. The valving is aggressive, and the shock stroke is 20-30 mm shorter than street kits, which suits a driver who wants the car lower and firmer on track days.
Your own spring rates are an option, because the shocks are valved to whichever rates you select. Upgraded bumpstops help prevent the shock from bottoming out, and the 36 damping levels adjust compression and rebound together, so each small change shows in the way the car behaves.
Ride height is set on the lower mount, and the spring perch is the alternative where no lower mount exists. Monotube construction helps heat leave faster and keeps ride quality consistent. The Mazda 626 and Ford Probe from 1993 to 1997 are also listed, so run the year/make/model checker before you order.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving.
Version RR kits include upgraded bumpstops to prevent the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement or harsh road conditions.
Aggressive spring rates and valving with a 20–30 mm shorter shock stroke. Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates; the shocks are valved to what you select.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent ride quality.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
Coilover setup, height and damping guidesWarranty & service

Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. KSport coilovers are rebuildable; replacement shocks, springs, mounts and hardware are sold individually.
