Launch traction is the whole job of the Version DR coilover for the 2008 to 2013 Infiniti G37 (V36, coupe and RWD sedan, convertible excluded). Built on the Version RR road-race platform, each kit is custom valved for drag racing, with spring rates chosen to maximize traction and manage weight transfer. KSport says that is how it helps reduce E.T. and 60-foot times.
Springs here are 14 kg/mm in front and 6.3 kg/mm at the rear, and the page flags the car as a true rear coilover application. Damping still offers 36 levels, so you can run full soft for a comfortable cruise between passes, while the monotube high-pressure design keeps behavior consistent run after run. Mounts, collars and spring perches are 6061-T6 billet aluminum, with zinc-plated steel shock bodies.
Four assembled coilovers, upper mounts, damping knobs and spanner wrenches are supplied. Many Infiniti Q60, Q40 and G25 years, plus Nissan 370Z, appear as related applications, but only confirm fit using the year, make and model checker. Have setup and alignment done professionally, and baseline camber at the lower-mount hole first.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
