The 2008-2013 Infiniti G37 V36 is covered here for coupe and rear-wheel-drive sedan models, with the convertible excluded. The CIN020-KP is a complete Kontrol Pro system with four assembled coilovers, sprung at 12 kg/mm front and 6.3 kg/mm rear. This is a true rear coilover setup, so confirm the rear layout against your car before fitting.
Damping runs 36 levels with one knob per damper, and the adjustable lower mount keeps full shock travel while you lower the car. A monotube, high-pressure body sheds heat more evenly and gives finer damping changes than twin-tube units. Mounts, collars and spring perches are 6061-T6 billet aluminum, which keeps weight down and resists corrosion, and each unit has a dust boot with the bump stop integrated inside.
Ride height is set at the lower mount, every collar is locked with both spanner wrenches, and damping starts 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff. Professional setup and alignment are required afterward. The 370Z from 2009 to 2018, the G35 sedan from 2007 to 2008 without AWD, and several Q-series years are also listed, so check your exact year and body style on the fitment checker.

Applications for MacPherson-strut suspension typically use a pillowball upper mount. The bearing design resists the noise common to other coilovers, and steering feel and response improve.
Most Kontrol Pro applications adjust ride height independently of shock and spring travel, so you can set your stance without risking bottoming out the shock.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
