Product details
Version RR is KSport's road-race coilover, and CHD020-RR applies it to the 1992 to 1995 Honda Civic. It is for the driver whose EG sees real lapping time and who is willing to trade some comfort for control. Springs are 20 kg/mm in front and 18 kg/mm in the rear.
The setup is aggressive on purpose. The shocks are valved for race rates, and you can choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates, with the shocks valved to what you select. The stroke is 20 to 30 mm shorter than on street kits, and upgraded bumpstops keep the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement. Damping still has 36 settings, with full soft available as a normal-driving setting, and the pillowball top mount holds the geometry.
Components include the dampers, mounts, knobs and spanner wrenches. The compatible list is wide: the 1996 to 1997 Del Sol, the 1992 to 1995 Del Sol and the 1994 to 2001 Integra (DC2) are named as well. Given the rates and the shorter stroke, think of it as a race setup, and verify fitment using the year/make/model checker.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving.
Version RR kits include upgraded bumpstops to prevent the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement or harsh road conditions.
Aggressive spring rates and valving with a 20–30 mm shorter shock stroke. Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates; the shocks are valved to what you select.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent ride quality.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
