Product details
The Version DR drag race coilover is set up for the 2014 and 2015 Honda Civic, the approved application for CHD360-DR. Built on the Version RR road race platform and valved custom for drag racing, the coilovers run 6.7 kg/mm springs up front and 8.7 kg/mm at the rear, and the rear is a true coilover on this application.
The rates were chosen to maximize traction off the line and to regulate weight transfer, which is the whole point of a drag setup. Each damper is monotube, so oil and gas stay separated, heat leaves faster, and the car stays consistent from run to run. There are 36 levels of damping on one knob per damper, and the adjustable lower mount preserves shock travel while you set ride height. Mounts, collars and spring perches are 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and pillowball upper mounts on the MacPherson fronts sharpen steering feel. Trim matters on this application, so confirm yours with the year, make and model checker before ordering.
Supported features
Custom valved for drag racing with spring rates chosen to maximize traction and regulate weight transfer.
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for a comfortable cruising setting between passes.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Most applications adjust ride height without affecting shock and spring travel.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent behavior pass after pass.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
