Acura ILX owners from 2013 to 2015 can run CHD360-DR, the Version DR drag race coilover, which is the one approved application for that car. Four coilovers come sprung at 6.7 kg/mm front and 8.7 kg/mm rear, and they are valved custom for drag racing on top of the Version RR road race platform.
For a launch-focused setup the rate split matters, since the springs are chosen to maximize traction and control how weight moves through the car. The monotube bodies shed heat more evenly, which helps the damping stay steady over repeated runs, and the 36 damping levels sit on one knob per damper. Ride height is set at the adjustable lower mount so full shock travel is kept. Mounts and collars are 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and the shock bodies are zinc plated. The 2012 to 2015 Honda Civic is also listed for these coilovers, and the rear is a true coilover. Check the year, make and model checker before you order.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
