Product details
Version RR is the racing end of the range, and for the 1998 to 2002 Honda Accord it means springs rated 22 kg/mm in front and 18 kg/mm in the rear. The shock stroke is 20 to 30 mm shorter than street kits, and valving is aggressive, so this is a purpose-built choice rather than a mild upgrade.
If you need different numbers, the page says custom spring rates are available and the shocks are valved to whatever you choose. Upgraded bumpstops keep the shock from bottoming out on uneven pavement. Damping still offers 36 levels, and KSport notes full soft gives a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving. The monotube body keeps oil and gas separate for quicker heat dissipation and consistent behavior, and the pillowball upper mount combats noise and sharpens steering response on MacPherson applications.
Inside the box are four assembled coilovers, upper mounts, damping knobs and spanner wrenches. The adjustable lower mount sets height; lock every collar with both wrenches and start 18 clicks from full stiff. Also named: the 2001 to 2003 Acura CL (YA4) and 1999 to 2003 Acura TL (UA5). Confirm using the year, make and model checker.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving.
Version RR kits include upgraded bumpstops to prevent the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement or harsh road conditions.
Aggressive spring rates and valving with a 20–30 mm shorter shock stroke. Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates; the shocks are valved to what you select.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent ride quality.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
Coilover setup, height and damping guidesWarranty & service
