The Acura TL (UA5) from 1999 to 2003 gets Version RR Road Race under part CHD080-RR. Front springs sit at 22 kg/mm and rears at 18 kg/mm, with race-grade valving and a shorter stroke than the street line. Four assembled coilovers arrive sprung and valved for this car.
Custom rates are open to you, because the valving follows whichever rates you select. Bumpstops are upgraded, so the shock is less likely to bottom out on uneven pavement or harsh roads. The 36 damping levels remain available for comfortable cruising as well.
Ride height is set on the adjustable lower mount, and the spring perch takes over where no lower mount exists. Pillowball upper mounts with camber adjustment sit on MacPherson fronts. Check the Acura TL year and trim with the year/make/model checker before ordering.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
