GT Pro coilovers are built for the 1974 to 1985 Volkswagen Rabbit MK1, with front springs rated 7.5 kg/mm and rear springs rated 4.5 kg/mm. Four assembled coilovers come sprung and valved for this application, and the shock bodies are 55 mm monotube units.
Thirty-six damping levels, one knob per damper, give you control over compression and rebound together. The 55 mm body adds oil capacity and cooling efficiency, which helps the shock hold up under the sustained stress of track driving.
The adjustable lower mount preserves full travel while the car is lowered, and pillowball top mounts with camber adjustment sit on MacPherson-strut fronts. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches and have a professional handle setup and alignment. Confirm fitment with the year, make and model checker first.
Supported features
All KSport coilovers offer 36 levels of damping adjustment. Damping alters compression and rebound together for effective, easy-to-use changes.
GT Pro uses 55mm shock bodies for added oil capacity and cooling efficiency, so they hold up better under the sustained stress of track driving.
Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson-strut applications. Wishbone and multi-link applications use the standard aluminum lower mount, as on other KSport coilover kits.
A heavy-duty, all-steel pillowball adds strength and sharper steering response. Expect slightly more noise than an OEM rubber mount — that trade-off is normal for this class of part.
The inverted front design moves the gas/oil chamber farther from the knuckle and braking system, reducing heat transfer and unsprung weight for better handling and responsiveness.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
