For the 2011 to 2016 Volkswagen Jetta, this race-focused coilover kit carries 16 kg/mm springs up front and 18 kg/mm in back. The approved application leaves out rear trailing beam suspension and TDI models, so match your car to those limits first. The kit is built around aggressive race rates.
Four assembled coilovers come sprung and valved for that application, and the shocks are valved to the rates you choose. Damping has 36 levels of adjustment, one knob per damper. Set full soft for a comfortable cruise on everyday roads.
Adjustable front endlinks are mandatory here, part number AE0001. Pillowball top mounts carry camber adjustment on MacPherson-strut fronts. Ride height is set at the lower mount, and camber comes later at the top plate, so book a professional alignment once both are done.

Version RR kits include upgraded bumpstops to prevent the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement or harsh road conditions.
Aggressive spring rates and valving with a 20–30 mm shorter shock stroke. Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates; the shocks are valved to what you select.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent ride quality.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
