Version RR Road Race is KSport's track-focused coilover, and for the 1999 to 2005 Volkswagen Jetta MK4 it uses 14 kg/mm front and 12 kg/mm rear springs with aggressive race valving. The shock stroke is 20–30 mm shorter than street kits, and upgraded bumpstops are meant to stop the shock bottoming out over harsh surfaces. Custom spring rates are available if the stock choice is not what you want.
The rear is a true rear coilover, noted in the application details. Damping offers 36 levels and ride height is set at the adjustable lower mount. Mounts, collars and perches are billet 6061-T6 aluminum. In the box: four assembled coilovers, upper mounts, knobs and spanner wrenches. The MK4 Golf from the same years is listed as well. Because it is race-oriented, confirm fitment with the year/make/model checker and arrange a professional alignment.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
