This Supercomp front kit, part number BKVW040-846CO, brings eight-piston calipers and 14 in rotors, and CNC-machined brackets let it bolt to the OEM caliper bracket location.
The calipers are machined from a single billet of aerospace-quality aluminum rather than cast or welded, and the two-piece rotors float so the outer ring self-centers in the caliper and drags less. This part number comes with cross-drilled rotors, which run cooler and suit daily driving, while the slotted version suits more track use. Pads are SC5 street compounds, and stainless braided lines firm up the pedal compared with stock rubber hoses.
Painted KSport orange, race red, caution yellow and jet black are the standard finishes. The kit includes CNC-machined brackets and hardware. Fitment is limited to VR6 models with two-piece OE calipers, and the Golf is also listed, so verify with the year/make/model checker. Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.

Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
