The damping knobs give 36 levels of adjustment, and the monotube high-pressure body is designed to keep damping consistent while managing heat and aeration. Use the adjustable lower mount to set ride height, since it keeps shock and spring travel while you lower the car.
Pillowball upper mounts show up on MacPherson-strut applications, and camber adjustment comes with them when the application includes it. Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
