Kontrol Plus 2-Way coilovers are built for the 2015 to 2018 Volkswagen Golf MK7, including the GTI and excluding TDI models. Front springs are rated 10.5 kg/mm and rear springs 4.5 kg/mm. Four assembled coilovers come sprung and valved for that application, and the 2-Way design runs 2 to 3 kg stiffer springs than Kontrol Pro.
Damping offers 36 levels at the top of each assembly, and a standard external reservoir adds 24 nitrogen levels at the bottom. Rebound, compression and nitrogen pressure can be set independently for 864 possible settings. Advanced pillowball mounts with camber and caster adjustment are standard on MacPherson-strut applications, replacing the stock rubber or plastic mounts.

Kontrol Plus 2-Way systems run 2–3 kg stiffer spring rates and 60–150% stiffer damping than the Kontrol Pro kit.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
