Product details
The Version RR Road Race coilover is set up for the 1995 to 2000 Toyota Tercel with 14 kg/mm front springs and 12 kg/mm rear springs. Each of the four assembled coilovers is sprung and valved for this application. The rates are aggressive, and the shock stroke runs 20 to 30 mm shorter than street kits.
Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates, since the shocks are valved to whichever you select. Damping has 36 levels of adjustment, one knob per damper, and the set includes upgraded bumpstops. Start 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust in small steps.
The adjustable lower mount keeps full shock travel while the car is lowered, and pillowball upper mounts carry camber adjustment on MacPherson-strut fronts. Expect professional setup and alignment after installation. The Starlet from 1985 to 1999 and the Paseo from 1992 are also listed, so confirm your year, make and model with the checker before ordering.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving.
Version RR kits include upgraded bumpstops to prevent the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement or harsh road conditions.
Aggressive spring rates and valving with a 20–30 mm shorter shock stroke. Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates; the shocks are valved to what you select.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent ride quality.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
