Product details
Built for the 2002 to 2006 Toyota Camry, this Kontrol Sport kit uses four assembled coilovers sprung and valved for the application. Front springs are rated 8.7 kg/mm and rear springs 6.1 kg/mm, and the valving is 30 percent stiffer than Kontrol Pro. The Lexus ES300 is also listed on this kit.
Adjustment is one knob per damper across 36 levels. Compression and rebound move together with each step, and the monotube high-pressure body keeps oil and gas apart so the feel stays consistent from one session to the next. Aluminum mounts, collars and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet, and the steel shock bodies are zinc-plated.
The adjustable lower mount keeps full shock travel while the car is lowered, and most applications adjust ride height without losing suspension travel. Camber adjustment is available on many applications through the pillowball upper mount, so a separate camber kit may not be needed. Start 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff, then have professional setup and alignment done after installation.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial the system in for handling and comfort. Adjustment alters compression and rebound together for effective, user-friendly setup changes.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation for consistent ride quality.
Many MacPherson-strut applications use pillowball top mounts front and rear, installing to OEM specifications. The patented mount adds adjustability, combats noise, and sharpens steering feel and response.
Most applications adjust ride height without losing suspension travel, so you reach the height you want without bottoming out the shock. Separate rear shock-and-spring applications adjust at the spring perch and lower mount.
KSport's advanced upper pillowball mount is available on many applications, giving separate camber and caster adjustment for alignment work and removing the need for a separate camber kit.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
