For the 1997 to 2001 Toyota Camry, Kontrol Sport coilovers bring front springs rated 8.7 kg/mm and rear springs rated 6.1 kg/mm. Four assembled coilovers come sprung and valved for this application, and the valving is 30 percent stiffer than Kontrol Pro. The Lexus ES300 is also listed for this kit.
Each damper has 36 levels of adjustment with its own knob, and each step moves compression and rebound together. The monotube body dissipates heat faster and more evenly than twin-tube designs and allows finer damping adjustment. Start 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff, then adjust from there.
Adjustable lower mounts keep full shock travel while you lower the car. The pillowball top mounts, installed to OEM specifications, add adjustability on many MacPherson-strut applications. KSport's advanced upper pillowball mount is available on many applications, giving separate camber and caster adjustment for alignment work and removing the need for a separate camber kit.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
