For the 2007-2011 Toyota Camry, the CTY400-KP is a complete Kontrol Pro setup: four assembled coilovers, each sprung and valved for this application. Application-specific springs rated 8.7 at the front and 5.1 at the rear set the baseline, and every damper carries its own knob with 36 levels of adjustment. That range lets one car move from relaxed commuting settings to firmer control on a spirited drive.
Height comes from the adjustable lower mount, which lets you drop the car while the shock keeps its full travel. On a daily-driven sedan that means the damper never has to be run into its bump stop to reach the stance you want. The monotube, high-pressure body keeps oil and gas separated inside the cylinder, which helps heat leave the damper and makes fine tuning more repeatable. The upper mounts are pillowball units without camber adjustment, so plan any alignment changes around that.
Set the height at the lower mount, lock every collar with both spanner wrenches, and start the damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff before making fine changes. The Lexus ES350 from 2007 to 2012 is also compatible, but check your exact year, make and model with the fitment checker before you order.

Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
