GT Pro coilovers for the 2015 to 2018 Subaru WRX, including the STI, are rated 8.7 kg/mm at both ends. The monotube body uses a 55mm shock, which gives extra oil capacity and cooling efficiency for sustained track driving. Run the year, make and model checker to confirm fitment first.
Expect a little extra road noise from the steel pillowball, which is normal for this class of part, though it sharpens steering. The inverted front layout is intended to reduce heat transfer and unsprung weight.
Each damper offers 36 levels of adjustment, with compression and rebound changing together. Set height at the adjustable lower mount, begin damping at 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff, and have professional alignment done after installation. Expect slightly more noise than an OEM rubber mount, which is normal for this class of part.

Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson-strut applications. Wishbone and multi-link applications use the standard aluminum lower mount, as on other KSport coilover kits.
A heavy-duty, all-steel pillowball adds strength and sharper steering response. Expect slightly more noise than an OEM rubber mount — that trade-off is normal for this class of part.
The inverted front design moves the gas/oil chamber farther from the knuckle and braking system, reducing heat transfer and unsprung weight for better handling and responsiveness.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
