Description

The Ksport Gravel Rally Coilovers for the Subaru WRX are built to handle the abuse of the gravel rally racing circuit. The system features a lengthened shock stroke combined with longer springs (ranging from 250mm to 270mm) which allow it to easily absorb uneven road conditions. In addition, the Gravel Rally Coilover Kit also features heavy duty top plates and lower mounts for added strength and durability. Ride height can be adjusted +/- 30mm from OE ride height.

Features:

36-Way Adjustable Damping
Featuring 36 levels of damping adjustment Ksport Gravel Rally Coilovers allow you to perfectly dial in your coilover system for both handling and comfort. In addition, the damping adjustment alters compression and rebound simultaneously for more effective and user-friendly setup changes.

Specially Designed Extended Length Springs for Rally Racing
Designed specifically for our Gravel Rally kits, our springs range in length from 250mm to 270mm. *Note: Height adjustment range varies per vehicle, all kits will not go higher than OE ride height.

Extended Cylinder Length and Piston Stroke
Gravel Rally dampers feature extended cylinder length and piston stroke which greatly improves handling over uneven and bumpy roads.

Inverted Design for McPherson Type Suspension
For vehicles with McPherson type suspension our Gravel Rally damper kits feature an inverted shock design. Inverted shocks move the gas/oil chamber farther away from the knuckle and braking kit reducing heat transfer. This design also reduces un-sprung weight which helps improve handling and responsiveness. *Note: On inverted shocks the damping adjustment knob is at the bottom of the shock. Every kit is supplied with a flexible damping knob for easier access.

Large 55mm Shock Bodies
55mm Shock Bodies are used on kits that have inverted shocks. This allows for added oil capacity for increased cooling efficiency. They also perform better under stress situations which make them especially well-suited for track racing.

Heavy Duty Steel Top Mounts
Strengthened Steel Top Mounts are standard on vehicles using McPherson type suspension. Vehicles with wishbone/multi-link type suspension have standard aluminum top mounts as seen in our other coilover kits.

Heavy Duty Steel Lower Mounts
Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on vehicles using McPherson type suspension. Vehicles with wishbone/multi-link type suspension have standard aluminum lower mounts as seen in our other coilover kits.

Hardened Rubber Pillowball for Reduced Noise
Unique hardened rubber pillowball top mounts come standard on McPherson suspension type vehicles. Vehicles with wishbone/multi-link type suspension have standard aluminum top mounts as seen in our other coilover kits.

Aerospace Quality Aluminum Components
Most pieces in our Coilover systems, including mounts, collars and spring perches, are designed from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum resulting in lightweight, durable and rust resistant components. Steel shock bodies are electroplated with Zinc to resist rust and protect from the elements. In addition, kits include an anti-rust paste packet that can be applied to key areas of the coilover for added protection.

Monotube High Pressure Design Reduces Oil Leakage
The Ksport Gravel Rally Racing Coilovers utilize a Monotube design, with oil and gas separated within the cylinder. When compared to twin tube construction, the Monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly and allows for finer damping adjustments. Aeration and cavitation issues are a lot less common in a Monotube design, resulting in a more consistent ride quality.

Adjustable Spring Perch for Height Adjustment
Some vehicles have a separate rear shock and spring. In the coilover industry we call this a โ€œhi-low kitโ€. In this case you will adjust ride height via the spring. Adjustable lower mounts on the rear shock aid in setting the correct shock stroke. Vehicles with this type of set up can still go as low, or lower, than true coilovers.

pillowball top mount coiloversPillowball Top Mount for Increased Steering Feel
On many applications, Pillowball top mounts in the front and rear allow you to install and setup to OEM specifications. Ksportโ€™s patented upper pillowball mount offers the same level of adjustability and performance but allows for compliance that is often required from high-demand strut applications. In addition, our pillowball upper mounts combat noise, increase steering feel and response and on many applications, offer camber adjustment, eliminating the need for a separate camber kit.

Adjustable Lower Mount Allowing Maximum Suspension Travel
Most of our coilovers feature the ability to adjust your ride height without affecting the shock and spring travel. This way you can set your desired ride height without having to worry about bottoming out the shock.

Dust Boot to Protect Damper Seal
Dust boots are standard on all coilovers. We also integrate the bump stop inside the dust boot. This is more efficient and is less likely to crumble to pieces and deteriorate like other designs.

Easy Installation
The Ksport Gravel Rally Coilover system has been carefully designed to ensure a hassle-free installation process. A specialized team of engineerโ€™s test fitment, clearance, ride height and more to ensure the perfect application for your vehicle. View Installation Instructions.

I’ve been on the gravel spec GR’s for 2 years now with my 17 WRX. These coilovers really accomplish a lot for the money you spend on them compared to the competition. My car is a part daily driver, part fun car for ripping down dirt roads and trails. No competition use as of yet. Bumps, holes, and terrain that would normally have you white knuckling and whinging, the car is able to just glide over at high speed. The handling characteristics on the road are surprisingly very similar to stock and can even be stiffened up to have the car on rails. I still have my road tires in addition to all terrains on 15′ wheels. The car is on rails with the tarmacs on and damping stiffened a bit. While these do lack some of the fine adjustability of higher end coil overs, I still get quite a bit out of what you are able to do with the broad adjustment on these. You can expect a tremendous amount of additional travel on the front of the car. The suspension geometry of the rear end doesn’t allow for a lot of additional travel, but I’d like to think it’s maximized with this set up. I couldn’t recommend these enough. If you can shill out a little bit extra over lift springs, but aren’t willing to dig as deep for some fully adjustable rally coilovers, these are a perfect buy. Rally cross, daily/trail, I imagine they would even be better than nothing for serious competition. Thanks guys for making this great product. Not sure if this is allowed, but feel free to reach out to me on Instagram if you have questions for a (non-expert) end user @carterwr_x

I’ve been running these for about 2 months now on my 17 wrx. Ride feel is very OEM+ according to my butt. I did take the car on some pretty rough off-roading out in West Virginia and it handled pretty well, felt like I was able to maintain control the whole time. That said, if you’re looking to lift the car, you’ll need rear subframe spacers. The coilovers themselves have the capacity to go way up, but the rear suspension geometry doesn’t. Definitely recommend, especially if you can find them on sale like I did.
