Gravel Rally Spec GR is the loose-surface member of the KSport lineup, and this CSB140-GR set is made for the 2015 to 2018 Subaru WRX, STI included. Think of it as a coilover for the owner who spends weekends on dirt roads and rough-road events rather than on a smooth surface.
The kit uses lengthened shock stroke and springs between 250 mm and 270 mm, with the height range varying by vehicle and never exceeding OE ride height. That extra travel is the point: the car stays settled over ruts and washboard. Heavy-duty steel upper mounts and hardened-rubber pillowball tops soak up repeated hits from loose surfaces, and the inverted 55 mm shock bodies carry extra oil to resist heat during long runs. Springs are rated 5 kg/mm in front and 6.1 kg/mm in the rear.
Dial each damper across 36 levels using the knob and set height at the adjustable lower mount. Four assembled coilovers arrive with the damping knobs and spanner wrenches. Because the 2008 to 2014 Impreza WRX STI (GRB) is also listed, use the year/make/model checker to verify fitment before ordering.

Gravel Rally springs range from 250 mm to 270 mm with extended cylinder length and piston stroke, greatly improving handling over uneven and bumpy roads. Height range varies per vehicle and does not exceed OE ride height.
Asphalt Rally uses inverted shocks on many MacPherson applications, moving the gas/oil chamber away from the knuckle and brakes to reduce heat transfer and unsprung weight.
Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson applications; Gravel Rally adds heavy-duty steel upper mounts on most applications. Wishbone and multi-link applications use the standard aluminum mounts.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
