Fitting air ride to a 2015 to 2018 Subaru WRX, STI included, is usually about wiring effort, and Pro Plus is built to minimize it. There are no switches or gauges to run. Everything is managed by a digital manifold and one full-colour OLED remote, which shows tank and bag pressure at all four corners and lets you adjust each corner independently.
The system includes four application-specific struts, a single Viair 444C compressor and tank, the manifold, hoses, wiring, manuals and a damping knob. Leveling is automatic and based on pressure. The compressor can take the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds, according to the page.
On the strut side, you get 36-way damping that you adjust with the knob, adjustable lower mounts for fine height changes at any pressure, and sleeve-type or double-bellow bags chosen for the factory suspension design. Camber-adjustable top mounts are offered on certain MacPherson-strut cars, so ask a technician if they apply. An earlier Impreza WRX STI (2008 to 2014, GRB) is also on the compatibility list; verify fitment with the year, make and model checker. Professional installation and a recheck after 500 miles or one month are advised.
