Version DR drag coilovers are approved for the 2002 to 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX, and the WRX STI of 2002 to 2004 is also listed. Springs are 6.7 kg/mm at the front and 4.5 kg/mm at the rear, and the build starts from the Version RR road-race system with custom valving for each kit. Spring rates are chosen to maximize traction and regulate weight transfer, and each damper offers 36 levels of adjustment. Full soft gives a comfortable cruise between passes, and the adjustable lower mount keeps full shock travel while setting ride height.
Most applications adjust ride height without affecting shock and spring travel. The bearing in the patented pillowball upper mount is designed to cut noise and sharpen steering feel on many MacPherson applications.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
