The Version RR coilover for the 1993 to 2001 Subaru Impreza WRX STI is a road race set with four assembled coilovers. Springs are 16 kg/mm at the front and 16 kg/mm at the rear, and the shock stroke is 20 to 30 mm shorter than on street kits, a design built for racing use.
Aggressive race rates and valving come standard, and custom rates are available if you want to tune beyond them. Upgraded bumpstops guard against bottoming out over uneven pavement, and the 36 levels of damping adjustment run from a comfortable full soft setting up to firm track settings.
The mounts, collars and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The Version RR kit is also listed for the 1993 to 2001 Subaru Impreza on the GC8 chassis. Confirm the WRX STI year, make and model with the fitment checker before you order.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
