For the 1993 to 2001 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, Kontrol Plus 2-Way coilovers run 8.7 kg/mm front and 6.1 kg/mm rear springs. These systems are 2 to 3 kg stiffer and carry 60 to 150% stiffer damping than the Kontrol Pro kit. Confirm the set against the year, make and model checker before you buy.
The top of each damper offers 36 levels of adjustment, and the bottom of the reservoir adds 24 nitrogen levels. The external reservoir lets rebound, compression and nitrogen pressure be adjusted separately, for 864 possible settings.
Advanced pillowball mounts on MacPherson-strut applications replace the stock rubber or plastic parts, with camber and caster adjustment that reduces flex and improves response. Most applications adjust ride height without affecting shock and spring travel, so the stance can be set without bottoming out the shock.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
