Slide Kontrol Drift coilovers for the 2002 to 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX run 12 kg/mm front and 8.7 kg/mm rear springs. Damping is 30 to 50% stiffer than the Kontrol Pro, and both upper mounts are pillowballs with camber adjustment. Verify fit against the year, make and model checker before ordering.
Helper springs come with some applications, and the stiffer spring rates help initiate a slide. The inverted-type shock body is 55 mm, which holds up under sustained stress at track events. The inverted-type shock bodies are 55 mm and add oil capacity and cooling efficiency.
Steel lower mounts on MacPherson-strut applications handle drifting loads, and the lower mount is where ride height gets set. Full soft gives a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving. Many of these applications also have pillowball upper mounts with camber adjustment, which helps alignment.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
