Kontrol Pro coilovers for the 2008-2014 Subaru Impreza WRX in GH8 chassis cover sedan and hatchback bodies. Four assembled coilovers are sprung for the car with 8.7 kg/mm springs at both the front and the rear, so the two ends are matched. Each damper gives 36 levels of damping adjustment, with one knob per damper.
The adjustable lower mount keeps full shock travel while the car is lowered, so ride height can be set without the shock bottoming out. Damping is best started in the middle of the range and moved in small steps, since a few clicks change how the car settles over a bump. Dial it in on roads you know before you push the car harder.

Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
