Product details
The 2013-2018 Subaru BRZ takes this CSC080-KP Kontrol Pro kit, with springs rated 7.5 kg/mm at the front and 6 kg/mm at the rear. The front uses a pillowball upper mount with camber adjustment, while the rear upper mount is aluminum with no camber adjustment, so the front is where camber is dialed in.
The damping gives 36 levels through one knob per damper, so the car can stay calm on the commute or sharpen up for track days. The adjustable lower mount changes ride height while keeping shock travel, which matters on a car where stance is a big part of the look. The monotube, high-pressure body dissipates heat evenly and resists aeration, and the upper mounts are 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a light, corrosion-resistant build.
Lock each collar with both spanner wrenches and start the damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff. The Scion FR-S from 2013 to 2016 and the Toyota 86 from 2017 to 2021 are also listed for this kit, so use the fitment checker to confirm your exact car before the alignment appointment.
Supported features
Every KSport coilover offers 36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for comfortable daily driving, or firm up the compression and rebound for the track.
Applications with a pillowball upper mount often include camber adjustment — useful for dialing in alignment after lowering, and it removes the need for a separate camber kit.
Applications for MacPherson-strut suspension typically use a pillowball upper mount. The bearing design resists the noise common to other coilovers, and steering feel and response improve.
Most Kontrol Pro applications adjust ride height independently of shock and spring travel, so you can set your stance without risking bottoming out the shock.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
