This Airtech Basic kit is built for the 2004 to 2006 Scion XA (NCP31 chassis). Four application-specific air struts, each with 36 levels of damping adjustment and an adjustable lower mount, form the core of the system.
The air supply is a single Viair 444C compressor feeding a 5-gallon black steel tank. Manual paddle valves control the front and rear bags, and a dual-needle 200 psi front and rear gauge sits beside the switches so pressure is always visible. Height range is 0 to 120 or 200 mm depending on the vehicle, and the Basic setup raises the car in 4 to 7 seconds.
Hoses, wiring and manuals are in the box, though professional installation is recommended. After the first 500 miles or one month, recheck the system, and to find leaks inflate to 70 psi and spray each fitting with soapy water. The 2007 Scion XB is also listed for this NCP31 chassis, so confirm fitment with the year, make and model checker before ordering.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
