Product details
A rear big brake kit is an unusual upgrade, and the 2003 to 2012 Saab 9-3 (1.8T, 2.0T, 2.0T Aero and 2.8T Aero) is the application this one is built for. It pairs Procomp 4-piston calipers with 14 in two-piece slotted rotors, and the calipers bolt to the OEM caliper bracket location through CNC-machined carbon steel brackets.
One detail to read before you buy: the page states that the OEM handbrake will not function with this kit, so plan for that. The kit does work with the OEM master cylinder and ABS. Slotted rotors are the track-leaning choice in this lineup, while cross-drilled suits daily driving, and each is a separate part number. SC1 street pads, a NAOC ceramic compound with a 194 to 1022 degree F operating range, come in the box along with stainless braided lines that give a firmer, quicker pedal.
You pick the caliper finish at checkout, including painted orange, red, yellow or black, and can upgrade pads and center bells. After installation, follow the bed-in routine: ten light-to-medium stops from 30 to 45 mph. Verify fitment with the year, make and model checker.
Supported features
Lightweight 6-pot aluminum calipers are standard on 11 in and 12 in front systems; 8-pot calipers on 13 in and 14 in. The opposed-piston design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM.
Lightweight 2-pot aluminum calipers are standard on 11 in and 12 in rear kits; 4-pot on 13 in and 14 in systems.
Two-piece rotors provide light weight, fade-free performance and grip on the track with comfortable, easy operation under normal driving.
CNC-machined carbon steel brackets let the larger calipers bolt to the OEM caliper bracket location.
Cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles; slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use.
NAOC ceramic street pads (194–1022°F operating range) reduce dust and rotor wear; DOT-compliant stainless braided lines resist expansion for a firmer, quicker pedal.
Standard painted orange, red, black, and yellow; premium high-polish silver, gold, and titanium; glassy and hard-anodized finishes; over 20,000 custom colors on request.

Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.
Brake system support and bed-in procedureWarranty & service
12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
