A drag-racing setup for the 1991 to 1994 Porsche 964 on rear-wheel drive, Version DR starts from the Version RR road-race platform. Springs are 8.7 kg/mm front and 6.3 kg/mm rear, and the shocks are custom valved for each kit. The 911 of the same years is listed as well. Traction and controlled weight transfer are the goals of the spring selection, and the 36 levels of adjustment make it possible to soften things for a relaxed run home between passes. The monotube body keeps each pass consistent.
Ride height is set at the adjustable lower mount, and the spring perch is needed only where no lower mount exists. Pillowball upper mounts on many MacPherson applications help alignment and steering feel, and the monotube dampers stay consistent in use.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
