Version DR drag coilovers for the 1989 to 1993 Porsche 964 on rear-wheel drive start from the Version RR road-race platform. Springs are 8.7 kg/mm at the front and 6.3 kg/mm at the rear, and the shocks are custom valved for each kit for drag racing. The 911 of those years is also listed. The spring rates are chosen to maximize traction and regulate weight transfer, and the 36 levels of adjustment let you soften the setup for a comfortable run home between passes. The monotube body keeps behavior consistent pass after pass.
Ride height is set at the adjustable lower mount, which keeps full shock travel. The pillowball upper mounts on many MacPherson applications bring a patented bearing design that combats noise and improves steering feel, and the spring perch is needed only where no lower mount exists.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
