This rear Dualcomp kit is made for the 1989 to 1993 Porsche 964 (C2, rear-wheel drive). It swaps in 4-piston billet calipers with a dual-circuit design: two pistons work the foot brake, two work the handbrake, each on its own system.
The rotors are 14 in (356 mm), cross-drilled and two-piece with aluminum center bells, and the page describes two-piece rotors as commonly up to 50% lighter than OEM rotors of the same size. A polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever are part of the package, and the hydraulic handbrake caliper circuit is included. Cross-drilled is the version suited to daily driving, while the slotted rotor option is the track pick on the Dualcomp page.
Wheel clearance is a planning rule of 18 in or larger, to be checked against the KSport template. Street pads, braided stainless lines, carbon steel brackets and hardware complete the box, and the kit works with the OEM master cylinder and ABS. The 1989 to 1993 Porsche 911 (C2) is also listed. Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.
Brake system support and bed-in procedureWarranty & service
12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
