The Version DR drag kit for the 1990 to 1995 Nissan Pulsar N14 starts from the Version RR road-race platform. Springs are 5.3 kg/mm front and 6.1 kg/mm rear, and the valving is custom built for each kit for drag racing. The NX1600 of the same years is also listed. Confirm the car against the year, make and model checker before you order.
Spring rates are picked to help traction and to manage weight transfer off the line, and each damper has 36 levels of adjustment. Full soft gives a comfortable cruise between passes, so the car stays easy to drive on the way to and from the strip.
Ride height is set at the adjustable lower mount, which keeps full shock travel, and the spring perch is needed only where no lower mount exists. Monotube dampers keep behavior consistent from pass to pass, and the pillowball mounts on MacPherson fronts help with alignment.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
