Product details
Version RR Road Race coilovers for the 2019 Nissan Maxima on the A35 and A36 chassis, coupe and sedan, are built as a true rear coilover application, with 18.6 kg/mm front and 16 kg/mm rear springs. Aggressive race rates and custom rates are available. Check the 2019 fitment with the year, make and model checker before buying.
The shock stroke is 20 to 30 mm shorter than street kits, and the valving is aggressive. You may choose proven spring rates or supply custom rates, and the shocks are valved to match, with upgraded bumpstops guarding against bottoming out.
Each damper has 36 levels of adjustment, set softly for normal cruising or firmed for the track. Pillowball top mounts on many MacPherson applications and monotube bodies keep the setup repeatable, and professional alignment is needed after installation.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving.
Version RR kits include upgraded bumpstops to prevent the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement or harsh road conditions.
Aggressive spring rates and valving with a 20–30 mm shorter shock stroke. Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates; the shocks are valved to what you select.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent ride quality.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
