Product details
The Version RR kit takes the 1997 to 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage (CA4A) in a racing direction. Spring rates are 14 kg/mm at both ends, which gives a neutral front-to-rear relationship, and the shock stroke is 20 to 30 mm shorter than on street kits.
Road Race valving is aggressive by design, and the page says you can choose either the standard rates or custom ones, with the shocks valved to match. Upgraded bumpstops protect against bottoming over harsh pavement. There are still 36 damping levels, one knob per damper, so it can be eased off for ordinary driving by turning to full soft. Monotube construction aids heat dissipation, and pillowball tops are meant to cut noise and sharpen steering feel.
Included: four assembled coilovers, upper mounts, damping knobs and spanner wrenches. Use the adjustable lower mount for height, tighten collars with both wrenches and begin 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff. The Lancer from 1997 to 2001 (CA4A) is also listed. Check the year, make and model checker and arrange a professional alignment.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving.
Version RR kits include upgraded bumpstops to prevent the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement or harsh road conditions.
Aggressive spring rates and valving with a 20–30 mm shorter shock stroke. Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates; the shocks are valved to what you select.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent ride quality.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
