Slimline front brakes for the 1997-2001 Mitsubishi Mirage use 3-piston one-piece billet aluminum calipers on 13 in (330 mm) two-piece cross-drilled rotors. Aluminum center bells and SC5 street brake pads are supplied, along with stainless braided brake lines and CNC-machined caliper mounting brackets with hardware.
Application notes state that the OEM handbrake will not function with this kit, so plan parking-brake use before installation. Cross-drilled rotors are the daily-driving choice, and the slotted version suits track use. Both listed applications share this Slimline caliper design.
Wheel clearance is listed as 17 in or larger, about 4 in over the rotor, so check the wheel barrel and spokes before buying. The 1997-2001 Mitsubishi Lancer on chassis CJ4A is also listed for this kit, so confirm with the year, make and model checker.

Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.
Brake system support and bed-in procedureWarranty & service
12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
