The Airtech Basic air suspension fits the 1997 to 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage CA4A. Its four application-specific air struts carry 36-way damping and adjustable lower mounts, and a single Viair 444C compressor feeds a 5-gallon black steel tank.
Manual paddle valves handle bag pressure, and a dual-needle 200 psi front and rear gauge keeps the readings in view while you adjust. The height range is 0 to 120 or 200 mm depending on the vehicle. The bags are sleeve-type or double-bellow, chosen to suit the OEM suspension design, and all hoses, wiring and installation manuals are included.
The kit is also listed for the 1997 to 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer on the CA4A chassis. Use the year, make and model checker before ordering so the Mirage match is confirmed for your car. Damping is set at each strut with the included knob.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
