Product details
The GT Pro coilover is for a 1998 to 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, with four assembled coilovers sprung and valved for the application. Front and rear springs are rated 8.7 kg/mm and 7.2 kg/mm, and the monotube body uses a 55 mm shock.
Large 55 mm shock bodies add oil capacity and cooling efficiency, which matters under the sustained stress of track driving. The 36 damping levels per damper alter compression and rebound together, making changes easy to dial in. The inverted front design moves the gas and oil chamber farther from the knuckle and braking system.
Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson applications, and the all-steel pillowball adds strength and sharper steering response, though it is noisier than a rubber mount. Set ride height on the lower mount, lock each collar with both spanner wrenches, and align the car after installation. Also listed for this system: the Eclipse, 2000 to 2005.
Supported features
All KSport coilovers offer 36 levels of damping adjustment. Damping alters compression and rebound together for effective, easy-to-use changes.
GT Pro uses 55mm shock bodies for added oil capacity and cooling efficiency, so they hold up better under the sustained stress of track driving.
Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson-strut applications. Wishbone and multi-link applications use the standard aluminum lower mount, as on other KSport coilover kits.
A heavy-duty, all-steel pillowball adds strength and sharper steering response. Expect slightly more noise than an OEM rubber mount — that trade-off is normal for this class of part.
The inverted front design moves the gas/oil chamber farther from the knuckle and braking system, reducing heat transfer and unsprung weight for better handling and responsiveness.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
