Lancer Evolution owners tend to use their cars hard, which makes the rear axle a worthwhile place to spend. This Supercomp kit is listed for the 2006 to 2007 Mitsubishi EVO 9 and brings four-piston forged billet aluminum calipers and 13 inch (330 mm) slotted two-piece rotors to the back of the car, with the 2003 to 2005 EVO 8 shown as a related application.
Slotted rotors are the track-oriented style in the Supercomp line, while the floating rotor ring centers itself in the caliper to cut drag. Included are SC5 street pads, stainless braided lines, caliper brackets and the hardware needed, and the page says the system keeps the OEM master cylinder and ABS in the loop.
Wheel clearance is the first thing to settle: as a rule of thumb the wheel should be 17 inch or larger, then verified with the KSport template against the barrel and spokes. Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.

Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim.
