Dualcomp rear calipers on the 2006-2007 Mitsubishi EVO 9 are 4-piston one-piece billet aluminum units that clamp 14 in (356 mm) two-piece cross-drilled rotors. The kit includes street brake pads, stainless braided brake lines, aluminum center bells and CNC-machined caliper brackets with hardware.
The Dualcomp design typically splits duty, with two pistons serving the foot brake and two serving the handbrake. Cross-drilled rotors suit daily driving, while the slotted version of this kit is aimed at track use. Each style is its own part number, so the choice happens before ordering.
Wheel guidance is 18 in or larger, roughly 4 in over the rotor, so verify clearance before buying. Confirm fitment with the year, make and model checker; the EVO 8 from 2003 to 2005 is also listed for this kit.

Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.
Brake system support and bed-in procedureWarranty & service
12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
