The Airtech Deluxe kit for the 2006 to 2007 Mitsubishi EVO 9 is the approved application here, and the EVO 8 of those years is also listed. It carries four 36-way air struts, a Viair 444C compressor, an air tank and paddle valves with a gauge, then adds two electronic switches and a wireless remote that adjusts ride height from outside the vehicle. Confirm the match on the year, make and model checker before you buy.
The Viair 444C can raise the car from its lowest to its highest height in as little as four seconds. The quick-disconnect plug takes four wires, which keeps the electrical hookup tidy, and the hoses, wiring and manuals are all included. Each strut carries 36 levels of damping that you set with the included knob.
Bolt-on struts go in with the supplied hoses and manuals, and professional installation is recommended. Recheck the system after the first 500 miles or one month, and test for leaks by inflating to 70 psi and spraying each fitting with soapy water. Basic, Pro Plus and Executive are separate part numbers for this vehicle, so match the management level you want before buying.
