Product details
Race-tuned Version RR coilovers for all-wheel drive 1991 to 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT cars, the approved application here, with the Dodge Stealth of those years also listed. Each corner has a 14 kg/mm spring, and the valving is aggressive, so the shock stroke is 20 to 30 mm shorter than on street kits. Use the year, make and model checker before ordering.
You can order proven spring rates or send your own custom rates, and the shocks are valved to whatever you select. Upgraded bumpstops stop the shock bottoming out on rough pavement, and the 36 levels of damping let the car be softened for cruising or firmed for a track session.
Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches, and set ride height with the adjustable lower mount. On MacPherson fronts, the pillowball top mount provides camber adjustment, so set baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine tuning at the upper plate, and have a professional align the car.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for a comfortable cruising setting for normal driving.
Version RR kits include upgraded bumpstops to prevent the shock from bottoming out over uneven pavement or harsh road conditions.
Aggressive spring rates and valving with a 20–30 mm shorter shock stroke. Choose proven spring rates or your own custom rates; the shocks are valved to what you select.
Many MacPherson applications have pillowball upper mounts; the patented bearing design combats noise and improves steering feel and response.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustment, and consistent ride quality.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum; steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
